HB2686 by Baxter (Relating to the sufficiency of municipal court complaints.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that a complaint filed in municipal court must allege that the offense was committeed in the corporate limits of the municipality in which the complaint is made. Under current statute, the offense had to have been committed in the territorial limits.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
