HB2846 by Farabee (Relating to the authority of the State Office of Administrative Hearings to conduct certain hearings over which the Railroad Commission of Texas has jurisdiction.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis of the State Office of Administrative Hearings and the Railroad Commission, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds from both houses, otherwise it would take effect September 1, 2003.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
