No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would clarify the duties of the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services  (PRS)relating to serving as guardians of persons who are found to be in a state of neglect, abuse, or exploitation, in order to prevent judicial expansion of the agency’s responsibilities. The agency reported no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, as PRS currently provides this service.
