HB2858 by Farrar (Relating to certain hearings relating to a person placed on community supervision for violation of a court order in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would increase the amount of time within which a court is required to set a hearing for alleged violation of community supervision from 3 working days to 5 working days after the date of arrest. The bill would have no significant fiscal impact on the State.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
