No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Property Code to establish requirements relating to the confidentiality of certain personal information in real property records filed with the county clerk after December 31, 2003. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.
