IN RE:	HB2984 by Hupp (Relating to the transfer of the Communities in Schools program. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would transfer administration of the Communities in Schools Program from the Department of Protective and Regulatory Services to the Texas Education Agency.  Program funds and staff would be shifted from one agency to another, resulting in no net impact to the state.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
