LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 78TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 12, 2003

TO:
Honorable Robert Talton, Chair, House Committee on Urban Affairs

FROM:
John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB3021 by Woolley (Relating to the disclosure of business or financial relationships by certain governmental officers associated with sports authorities; imposing a criminal penalty. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Subchapter F, Chapter 335, Local Government Code, which applies only to code of conduct for districts in a county with a population of 2.4 million or more. Currently, only Harris County fits within that population bracket.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
