HB3034 by Ellis (Relating to the rates of certain retail public utilities.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would  remove exemptions for retail public utilities for which a final order in a rate proceeding has been issued prior to January 1, 2002 from changes made to Water Code, Chapter 13 by Senate Bill 2, 77th Legislature. The removal of such exemptions is not expected to have a fiscal impact to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
