No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would prohibit the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) from adopting a rule related to the disposal of livestock unless the rule is developed in cooperation with and is approved by the Texas Animal Health Commission. The bill also requires that disposal of livestock remains be consistent with rules adopted by the TCEQ, and that disposal of a livestock carcass occur in the county in which it was discovered.
