IN RE:	HB3153 by Bonnen (Relating to the notice of nutritional information by a chain restaurant; providing a criminal penalty. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to add a new chapter relating to nutritional value information.  The bill would require certain restaurants to publish nutritional value informaton.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
