FROM:

IN RE:
HB3199 by Kolkhorst (Relating to the compensation of certain state law enforcement officers.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the compensation of certain state law enforcement officers. The bill would require the State Auditor's Office to conduct a survey every two years of local law enforcement departments concerning compensation to law enforcement officers. The State Auditor's Office would report the results and analysis of the survey to the Legislature. The State Auditor's Office indicates that completing the survey and analysis would not have a significant fiscal impact.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
