No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a component of the Texas A&M University System to develop and administer services to municipal building inspectors and to assist training programs in the certification program. The bill would authorize the component institution to collect reasonable fees to administer the program.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Local governments employees, who participate in the training program, would be charged fees to cover the costs.
