The bill would amend the Penal Code, Chapter 25 relating to the offense of violating the terms of a court order providing for the possession of or access to a child. The bill would provide a criminal penalty for persons found to interfere with the court-ordered possession of or access to a child. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
