HB3363 by Isett (Relating to requiring state agencies to report on legal matters.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each state agency to file a written report, no later than March 1, 2004, with the State Affairs Committees of the Senate and the House of Representatives stating whether the state agency uses agency employees, the Attorney General, or other counsel to represent the agency in legal matters, the amount of money the state agency spent during the previous fiscal biennium relating to legal matters, and the number of state agency employees working on legal matters.

 

This bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
