No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill relates to the composition of the districts for the election of the members of the United States House of Representatives from the State of Texas. The bill sets forth the composition of the districts and provides that one member is elected from each district established in this Act.

This Act takes effect immediately if it receives the necessary votes, if not, then it takes effect on September 1, 2003.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
