HB3475 by Pena (Relating to requiring warning labels for certain buckets.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 756 of the Health and Safety Code, to add Section 756.014, which would prohibit the sale or offer for sale of buckets with a volume of four to six gallons, inclusive, unless the bucket is labeled in accordance with the section.  The bill specifies the label requirements in detail. 

The Department of Health indicates that the bill would not assign responsibility to any agency for implementation of the provisions of the bill and would not authorize any administrative or criminal penalties for failure to comply with the provisions of this bill.
 
The Act would take effect September 1, 2003.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
