No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the issuance of concealed handgun licenses to residents of certain other states and to reciprocity agreements with other states concerning concealed handgun licenses.  The Department of Public Safety indicates that the bill would not create a significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
