No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $85,275.


The resolution proposes a constitutional amendment authorizing the reduction of the voting age for elections to 16 years of age. If the resolution is passed, it would be presented to the voters at an election to be held on November 4, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
