SB50 by Zaffirini (Relating to the victim's statement regarding the impact of an offense in certain sexual assault cases.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by allowing the victim of the offense of sexual assault to address the court regarding the impact of the sexual assault offense on the victim.  It is assumed that this bill would not significantly affect the fiscal operations of state government.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
