No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Subchapter A, Chapter 92 of the Property Code by adding Section 92.015 relating to a residential tenant’s right to summon police or emergency assistance; providing a civil penalty.  The Act takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all members of each house; otherwise it takes effect September 1, 2003.
