SB105 by Averitt (Relating to the abolition of the County Court at Law of Navarro County.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Sections 25.1771 and 1772, Government Code, to abolish the County Court at Law of Navarro County.  The bill takes effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house; otherwise the bill would take effect on September 1, 2003.      


Local Government Impact

Although the statutory authority currently exists, the County Court at Law in Navarro County has not been established to date.   No fiscal impact to local government is anticipated.
