No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Government Code, Section 62.021 which relates to jury service in certain counties by persons removed from a jury panel for cause.  The bill would take effect on September 1, 2003. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
