No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the limitation and venue provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow for felony indictments to be presented within ten years from the 18th birthday of a child who has been adversely affected by abuse or neglect.  It is assumed that the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact on the State.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
