SB144 by Averitt (Relating to the requirement that certain information be provided to health care practitioners regarding the use and abuse of certain drugs), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The provisions of the bill would require the Board of Medical Examiners to provide at least once each biennium certain information to health care practitioners regarding the use and abuse of certain drugs.  It is assumed the agency could implement the provisions of the bill within current resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
