SB147 by Barrientos (Relating to the adoption by state agencies of risk management plans and risk control strategies.), Committee Report 2nd House, As Amended

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require all state agencies to establish risk management policies and risk control strategies and to submit reports to proper authorities.  The bill would also require all state agencies to include the risk management plans into their strategic plan submissions.  The bill also stipulates that the State Office of Risk Management will work with the Legislative Budget Board in the incorporation of risk management plans into agency’s strategic plans.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
