No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill allows state employees to take a leave of absence without a deduction in salary for up to five days in a fiscal year to serve as a bone-marrow donor or up to 30 working days in a fiscal year to serve as an organ donor. State employees are also allowed sufficient time off without a deduction in pay to donate blood up to four times in a fiscal year.
