No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the definition in the Health and Safety Code, which defines conditions that constitute a public health nuisance.The bill amends the definition of a collection of water as a public health nuisance to include collections of water that are a breeding area for Culex quinquefasciatus mosquitoes that can transmit diseases regardless of the collection’s location other than a location or property where activities meeting the definition of Section 11.002 (12) (A), Water Code, occur.
