SB253 by Staples (Relating to the applicability of the Texas Youth Camp Safety and Health Act to facilities programs operated by or on the campus of an institution of higher education.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would exempt certain facilites and programs operated by or on the campus of institutions of higher education or private or independent institutions of higher education from complying with the Texas Youth Camp Safety and Health Act.  The facilities exempted by this bill are presently paying total licensing fees of approximately $500 per year.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
