No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code by altering the definition of the offense of violation of protective order or magistrate's order.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice does not anticipate a significant fiscal impact from the proposed change to the Penal Code. 


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
