SB350 by Armbrister (Relating to equal access to places of public accommodation.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a person that owns or operates a public accommodation from preventing access to the accommodation by an individual based on race, creed, sex, religion , natural origin or because the individual operates a motorcycle, is a member of an organization or association that operates motorcycles, or wears clothing that displays the name of any organization or association. An individual who is injured by such violation could seek injunctive relief and/or damages. The owner could deny access to the accommodation if the conduct of the individual poses a risk to the health or safety or another person or if the person's dress does not conform with a dress code.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
