SB380 by Armbrister (Relating to the prosecution of theft of service.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code by altering the conditions for which failure to return property held under a rental agreement is punishable as theft of service.  In its analysis of this provision, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice estimates that no significant fiscal impact to the State is anticipated.   

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
