SB423 by Nelson (Relating to requiring the comptroller to assess the feasibility of a central database containing information on special districts.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Comptroller of Public Accounts to study the feasibility of maintaining a central database containing information for each special district in the state.

The Comptroller would have to file a report on the results of the study with the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker of the House no later than November 15, 2004.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
