SB433 by Nelson (Relating to the issuance and enforcement of protective orders to protect victims of sexual assault; providing criminal penalties.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure concerning the issuance and enforcement of protective orders for victims of sexual assault and aggravated sexual assault.  A violation of a protective order issued on the basis of sexual assault would be punishable as a Class A misdemeanor.  It is assumed that the bill would not significantly affect the operations of state or local government.
