No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 22, Transportation Code, to prohibit within the boundaries of certain airports the solicitation or operation of a ground transportation business without obtaining permission, if required by the airport board. An offense would be a Class B misdemeanor. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
