TO: | Honorable Jane Nelson, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services |
FROM: | John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board |
IN RE: | SB492 by Shapleigh (Relating to an evaluation of public funding for children's mental health services.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to review and evaluate all sources of public funding for programs that provide mental health services to children and to report the results of the evaluation to the 79th Legislature, not later than January 11, 2005.
No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due the assumption that the bill requirements could be met within existing agency funding levels.
