No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill relates to the recognition of bison as wild animals indigenous to the state that are distinct from cattle, livestock, exotic livestock, and game animals, and that they may be raised for commercial purposes or for preserving the bison species.

The bill defines "livestock" as cattle, bison, sheep, swine, goats, horses, mules, other equines, poultry, domestic rabbits, exotic animals, or domesticated game birds.
