No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Penal Code by providing a defense to the prosecution of individuals for the offense of criminal trespass, and to the offense of trespass by holder of a license to carry a concealed handgun.Providing a defense to the prosecution of individuals for offenses would result in fewer prosecutions and would not result in additional fiscal implications to the State.
