IN RE: | SB502 by Armbrister (Relating to criminal and civil fees remitted to the comptroller of public accounts.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
The bill would consolidate, standardize, and provide uniform reporting and remittance procedures for criminal court costs and fees, as well as civil fees collected by courts on behalf of the state. This analysis assumes that any cost incurred by the Comptroller of Public Accounts can be absorbed into existing appropriations.
