SB557 by Madla (Relating to specialty license plates benefiting an organization whose principal purpose is the improvement or preservation of Big Bend National Park.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to expand the list of vehicles eligible for Big Bend National Park specialty license plates by including motorcycles. The bill would also require applications for the plates to include information allowing applicants to keep personal information from being released to a non-profit organization designated by the Parks and Wildlife Department. 

 

No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated number of license plate issuances.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
