No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to change the qualifications required of members of the Texas Council on Offenders with Mental Impairments.  The changes in law apply only to a person appointed on or after September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
