No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by allowing the Governor to grant one or more reprieves in any capital case for a period not to exceed 30 days for each reprieve.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Office of the Governor have determined that there would be no fiscal implications associated with implementing the bill.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
