No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code, Section 419.032 (c), to require full-time fire protection personnel appointed to fire-related emergency medical duties to complete a fire suppression training course. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
