No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would clarify that after a general law municipality has adopted the city manager form of government, the governing body's authority to appoint and prescribe the powers and duties of a municipal officer or employee under the aldermanic form of government is not limited. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
