SB746 by Williams (Relating to special Texas constable license plates.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Texas Department of Transportation to issue specially designed “Texas Constable” license plates for passenger cars and light trucks.  The bill would establish applicant requirements and would provide for replacement fees of $5 for any lost, stolen, or mutilated “Texas Constable” license plates.

 

No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated number of license plate issuances.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
