IN RE: | SB769 by Carona (Relating to the licensing and regulation of surgical assistants.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend the Occupations Code regarding licensing and regulation of surgical assistants. There would be a slight impact the revenue stream in fiscal years 2004 and 2005 because the bill would establish a biennial licensing renewal date for surgical assistants effective September 1, 2003.
Due to staggered licensing, there would be a slight drop in renewals for surgical assistants in fiscal year 2005, resulting in a revenue decrease of approximately $4,000 from fiscal year 2004.
