SB833 by Williams (Relating to the application of the Charitable Immunity and Liability Act of 1987 to alumni associations and on-campus organizations.), As Passed 2nd House

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would change the definition of a charitable organization to include private primary or secondary schools accredited by the South Association of Colleges and Schools.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Such a change has no identifiable fiscal impact on the state.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
