No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by expanding the jurisdiction of peace officers to allow arrests for offenses occurring in their presence regardless of where the offense occurs.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
