IN RE:	SB902 by Staples (Relating to the term of a contract between an appraisal district and the financial entity designated as the depository for the district.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend section 6.09(c) of the Tax Code to require that the appraisal district select a qualified depository for a term of two years.  Current law has no set period.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
