SB921 by Whitmire (Relating to the authority of a judge to reduce or terminate the community supervision of a defendant convicted of an offense punishable as a state jail felony.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by specifying the conditions for which a judge may reduce or terminate the community supervision of a defendant.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice does not anticipate a significant fiscal impact from this proposal. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
