The bill would amend the Occupations Code as it relates to an exemption from the private security laws for certain persons engaged in the business of furnishing information regarding the operational or customer service activities of a business or governmental entity.  The Commission on Private Security indicates that the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
